About me
I'm Sam, an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and serving Finance Director with more than 20 years' experience across practice and industry. My strength is bringing clarity when things feel complicated: cutting through the noise, finding what matters, and helping owners make decisions they're confident in.
My career has increasingly focused less on producing reports and more on shaping decisions. That includes 10 years in hospitality, where I held several senior finance roles before becoming Managing Director, and setting up, from scratch, a regulated medical products business that sells to the NHS. I bring that same senior perspective to owner-led businesses, using modern tools, including AI, to get answers faster and at lower cost.
